Web usability books mostly have either an engineering (design) or business perspective on usability - I wish to combine these two and add a media perspective.
This enables me to speak to a unique audience, the web managers (not designers, not usability practitioners, not web masters), to whom only very few relevant titles are currently available.
Also I want to demonstrate how usability techniques that are currently being used on the web can be adapted to other digital media like interactive TV and mobile services. I provide background and research material on user experience and usability specific to iTV and mobile services, which is a bit of a novelty I think.
